Can I do my laundry at the school?

Unfortunately we do not have access to laundry facilities in the school. They are strictly for school use. However, there are several launderettes in Kilkenny which can be used if needed.

Is there wifi access at the school?

Wi-Fi is available in most areas of the school - the dormitory areas do not all have Wi-Fi access. Also as this is a school, many internet sites such as YouTube and Facebook are blocked. If you need access to such sites you will need to use 3G/4G services. Phone signals are not great in some areas of the school.

I am a smoker, where can I smoke on campus?

There is only one designated area for smoking in the school. People are not permitted to smoke anywhere else on the campus. This includes the smoking of E Cigarettes or vaping equipment. Please note the school is fitted with smoke alarms and smoking will trigger fire alarms and evacuation of people.

How will I find... ?

The Quick Reference Guide will be emailed to all registered in advance of the school. We suggest you keep it on your phone/tablet/computer for reference during the School. You will also be provided on arrival at registration, with a copy of the Quick Reference Guide (QRG). We would suggest that you keep it with you and refer to it during the School.

When is bedtime at the school?

The bedtimes are set so as to try and ensure the best experience for all attendees. Please check QRG for bedtime details.

What should I bring with me?

You should include at least the following:

• Towels/wash kit
• Sufficient & varied clothing
• Any medications required
• Chargers/adaptors for any electronic equipment
• Musical instruments that you can play
